About Our Church
Coming to a new church opens up a whole new world of opportunities and experiences.
We invite you to come as you are.
What To Expect
As you enter the church, sign in and feel free to hang up your coat down the hall. Sit anywhere you like, whether it’s the front row or the very back – your worship experience is unique to you. And after service is over, stick around for a few minutes for some coffee, treats, and fellowship. We’d love to get to know you!
Connect.
Our attendance sheet is one way for us to connect with you. You can write down your contact information so you can be added to the email list for our newsletter and stay up to date on church events.
Feel free to reach out to Pastor Pete to schedule a visit to get to know each other. Whether you’re a seasoned Christian looking for a new church or just curious about what exactly Woodmar United Methodist Church is all about, Pastor Pete will be happy to meet with you at whatever stage you’re in.
Grow.
Woodmar offers a variety of opportunities to grow in your faith. If your passion lies in community outreach, sign up for one of our many volunteer programs. If you’re looking to develop your personal faith journey, join one of our small groups for regular Bible studies. And if you’re looking for connections and prayer, log in to Zoom Evening Prayers. Your walk with God is your own, and we encourage you to discover where He is calling you.
Share.
Our vision is “Go. Teach. Love.”
As you learn and grow in your faith within this community of believers, we invite you to share in our vision in living life intentionally with our neighbors and going out into the world to teach and to love. This can take many forms, whether it’s inviting strangers to church or simply having coffee with a friend to catch up on life and show them you care. God calls us to share His love with others in all that we do, in word or deed.
